Tiny Lightning Whelk Shells Beach Collected Egg Pods Small Tiny Microscopic Baby Seashells Doll House DIY Miniatures Marine Life Curiosities

Lightning Whelk Super Small Seashells! These are the smallest seashells you'll probably ever 'SEA'! Carefully collected on The Shell Lady's beach exploits, the lightning whelk Egg Pods contain some of the most treasured small seashells from her personal collection. Within each individual pod shown in our photos, contains multiple numbers of the super smallest, teeny, tiniest, BABY seashells ever!
Lightning Whelk Shells are considered Texas' state shell. Lightning Whelks from the Texas gulf coast are considered some of the rare left handed shells. The mother whelk lays the twisted egg pods shown in our photos and positions it along the sandy surf lines. Generally, the small shells will grow and release the tiny shells into the waters to grow to maturity. Occasionally however, the shell pods break free from the sandy bottom of the gulf coast. On rare occasions, you may find pods along the shoreline. Sometimes the pods are empty (yeah! Baby shells are growing!) But some of the time the pods still have the tiny seashells remaining (boo! They didn't make it). Now, if you're really crazy, like The Shell Lady, you may be able to find these very small seashells by sifting through beach collected debris/ sand. We are lucky to have such small treasures to offer!
These miniature seashells are really small! These are perfect for the avid collector, doll house designers, and jewelry artists. They will come in a small plastic ziploc bag for safe keeping. Collected from Padre Island local beaches.
