These fossilized pieces showcase the unique dental plates of an eagle ray, an incredible species once native to the waters near Port Aransas, Texas. Eagle rays used these specialized mouth structures—often resembling ribbed or comb-like ridges—for crushing mollusks and other hard-shelled prey. This set includes two naturally preserved specimens, offering an intriguing glimpse into ancient marine life.
