The scientific name of these lovely shells is Dinocardium robustum- Cardio- meaning heart- which is only seen from side of a pair.
Predominantly a rusty orange, cream, and tan colored shell, we do have some that are mainly grey tones.
Our stock varies with what the tide brings in!
An adult cockle is approximately 3-5"
