Charonia Tritonis or Giant Triton is a species of very large sea snail that can reach up to two feet. Found through out the indo-pacific oceans most commonly around reefs where they feed on starfish, including the crown of thorns starfish. This shell is well known as a decorative object and is sometimes modified for use as a trumpet. With beautiful brown markings on a cream background this shell would be a perfect accent or main display piece.
